Director MLS Compliance

Overview: Not-for-profit real estate trade association seeks an experienced candidate with strong analytic, quantitative, written, presentation, customer service and interpersonal skills for a position as Compliance Service Director. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and should also have experience in data compliance. Knowledge of data compliance processes and procedures within an MLS environment is essential along with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the real estate industry. Prior experience with managing teams is required.

The Ideal Candidate will be:

  • A highly capable manager with very strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Able to analyze and interpret large amounts of data
  • Proficient in collecting and processing violation reports
  • Capable ofidentifying, tracking and resolving all ethics violations and certify data compliance
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Proficient with databases and all Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

  • Supervises staff in identifying violation reports
  • Distributes, tracks and manages all violation notices in a timely manner
  • Follows up on all sent violation notices and elevates as necessary
  • Reviews and provide supporting documents for hearings
  • Updates data checker tools as needed to identify further compliance issues
  • Reports all listing service (RLS) data violations to the Executive Director
  • Work with Director Data Services on resolving reported data violations

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Economics, Public Policy, Real Estate Finance, or similar is required.Minimum 5 years of experience working in real estate compliance and previous customer service and supervisory skills are required.
