MIBOR REALTOR Association is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as VP of Business Technology. You will contribute to a vibrant member service organization and focus your strong leadership toward our vision of facilitating an efficient real estate marketplace where professionalism is promoted to strengthen our communities and keep our members essential to the real estate transaction.

This position manages all aspects of Business Support Services by planning, budgeting and administering all activities of the Broker Listing Cooperative® (BLC) listing service, lockbox service, REALTOR Store, and membership services. MIBOR REALTOR Association and BLC serve 8,000 members in Indianapolis and the 14 surrounding counties. The community is progressive and the city offers the great food, entertainment and sports you would expect from a large city but with a friendly small-town vibe.

Specific responsibilities:

• Position MIBOR as leading-edge provider of member and listing service technology
• Oversee all property data aggregation and distribution
• Oversee implementation, enhancement and maintenance of MLS System and other technology solutions provided by MIBOR
• Supervise contracts with technology providers
• Act as liaison with industry vendors – analyzing current and potential technologies
• Establish, maintain, and implement Rules and Policies in concert with BLC Policy and Technology Committees
• Ensure MIBOR members receive superior support and training
• Prepare business plans and budgets for all technical operations, membership, and multiple listing services
• Maintain technical and industry knowledge by attending workshops/conferences, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, and benchmarking best practices.
• Manage and lead member support, call center and IT personnel

Qualifications:

• College degree in business, computer science or related field
• CMLX designation a plus
• Previous real estate industry experience
• Previous management experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability
• Knowledge of brokerage technology needs
• Technology acumen and interest in learning
• Commitment to exceptional service
