The MLS Systems Manager organizes and maintains product lines from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize CVR MLS’s strategic goals.   Primary responsibility includes but is not limited to effective administration and maintenance of MLS products and systems as well as oversight and development of MLS Systems Specialists. This individual will conduct research, troubleshoot software issues, manage vendor relations and serve as MLS advisor to RAR and MLS staff.

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact and MLS systems administrator with MLS vendors to:
  • Plan, develop, and implement assigned MLS projects and tasks. These projects may include vendor review, contract management, product implementations, end user support, and training.
  • Document hardware and software specifications provided by vendor that are required for use of MLS systems, including but not limited to Operating Systems and Internet Browser settings.
  • Responsible for product research and recommendations for management and member evaluation.
  • Responsible for the quality assurance, quality control and implementation of changes to and operations of the MLS system and services.
  • Identify inefficiencies and work with product vendors to remediate.
  • Work in close collaboration with account management, database administration, product development, staff and clients as necessary to facilitate rapid problem solving and changes.
  • Perform quality analysis to maintain data integrity and system performance.
  • Address systems issues and troubleshoot as they occur with internal and external personnel.
  • Initiate and provide appropriate and timely communications to Director of Brand Experience to keep MLS users informed on system issues and updates. 
  • Assist with the quality assurance, quality control and implementation of changes to and operations of the MLS system and services.
  • Acquire and maintain a strong working knowledge of all CVR MLS systems.
  • Acquire and maintain a strong working knowledge of the CVR MLS rules and regulations, polices, enforcement procedures.
  • Responsible for product research and recommendations for management and member evaluation.
  • Responsible for supervision, professional development and evaluation of System Support Specialists.
  • Primary contact for member and staff inquiries with the MLS system and related services. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Serve as a staff trainer for the MLS system and services.    
  • Provide customer support in areas of compliance, products and services.
  • Work with Professional Development to update MLS product training as needed.
  • Work with staff for increased development in programs and services.
  • Work with staff to develop and maintain ongoing staff coverage for member response.
  • Develop and maintain tips and topics for member communications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

  • Computer proficiency with Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of MAC operating system recommended.
  • Strong knowledge of variety of internet browsers and their settings.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain a pleasant and professional phone manners.
  • Must not be afraid to ask questions.
  • Must be energized by organization and structure surrounding priorities and time management.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Must be comfortable with learning new software.

Education and Experience

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree and minimum five years database management software experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Possess the ability to draft correspondence and make oral presentations to members of the Association.  Familiarity with real estate concepts as plus as well as project coordination experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range is from $51,500 to $77,300 and will be reflective of experience. This position is full-time and non-exempt with a 37.5 hour work week. Flex time is offered between 7:30am – 5:00pm.
