Job Summary:

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and managing multiple engineering projects. Including managing cross-functional engineering and business teams in the timely execution of projects to support multiple business priorities. Works in a team environment, possessing excellent communication and leadership qualities to lead the team through design, development, implementation, and execution. The Technical Program Manager keeps the product owners and development team in alignment with the Scrum process, and Agile values and principles. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with complex technical projects and be able to effectively handle the challenges and difficulties that may arise at any given time.

-Provide day-to-day planning, coordination, and project management across the entirety of the Software Development Life Cycle

-Exercise sound project management practices and support a productive environment

-Manage cross-functional project teams using keen leadership, effective communication, strong negotiation skills

-Provide status/tracking of project progress and managing project trade-offs across scope, timing, and resources and adjusting priorities as needed

-Lead and/or contribute as an individual resource or subject matter specialist to cross-functional projects.

·Demonstrate technical comprehension and system knowledge as required to successfully capture, formalize, document, integrate, and evangelize project solutions

-Facilitates technical resources to deliver technology solutions in support of key product initiatives by working closely with functional leaders, business and product owners, architects, engineers, quality assurance, and UX/design

-Works within and across business units to prioritize, plan, and execute the project schedule

·Comfortable managing multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity and magnitude

-Execute initiatives and drive accountability for the accomplishment of work packages and overall business solutions

-On a daily basis works closely together with product owners, architects, engineers, quality assurance, and UX/design

Functional/Technical Skills:

Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.

Education and Experience

-1 year minimum playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.

-3+ years’ experience running software teams

-Expert in Jira, Confluence and other Atlassian products

-Previous coding experience

-Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
