PROJECT MANAGER

Summary of Position

W&R Studios is seeking a Project Manager to play a key role in a growing, agile product development team. This person will work with designers, developers, senior management and the marketing department on existing and new web and mobile apps for the real estate industry. The primary goal of this person will be to ensure continuous progress and momentum towards shipping new products, features, and fixes for our subscribers. This position will be based out of either our Huntington Beach, California headquarters (preferred) or Boulder, Colorado office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product development team to ensure projects are moving forward on the desired timeline.
• Communicate between product and marketing teams to ensure they’re on compatible schedules.
• Work with all team members to ensure there are no blocking issues that are disrupting efficient forward progress.
• Look far into the future to uncover potential roadblocks, then set up a plan to overcome issues before they become problems.
• Manage product ticketing systems to track issues and ensure relevant parties are notified of fixes.
• Drive all parties towards development schedules while not sacrificing product performance or quality.

Required Skill

• Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills.
• Outstanding problem solving skills.
• Working with agile web development and design teams to get apps into production.
• Managing projects with ticketing systems like Pivotal Tracker.
• Interfacing with marketing, sales departments, and senior management.
• Interfacing with customers.
• Actual web development or other programming a plus.

Experience

3+ years full time work experience required.

Education

BA/BS or MS in a relevant major is preferred.
