This job description is not intended to describe, in detail, all duties and responsibilities for this position. It is designed to provide a general sense of the responsibilities and expectations of this position. JOB SUMMARY: Represents Markt, multiple listing service (MLS) company, at real estate office meetings, in classes and other events when assigned as well as being a local ambassador at associations and support centers. At the direction of the Director of Brand and Brand Program Manager, the Content Specialist creates content to support Markt subscribers, brands (ARMLS, Metro MLS, etc.), internal departments and non-MLS subscribers based on the brand strategy. Utilizes an established publishing process to directly and indirectly create deliverables, such as articles, road maps, knowledge bases, blog posts, self-paced learning modules, videos, documentation, webinars, classes, webpages and other materials as assigned. Uses business intelligence tools and business objectives to generate content topics. Works closely with other departments to reach subscribers. Develops KPIs with the Brand Manger to measure and adapt strategy and tactics accordingly. This position requires in-state travel between Tempe, the Markt Support Centers and other locations as needed.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Creates compelling content and ongoing dialogues with Subscribers according to the brand strategy as part of the content team.
- Works as part of the content team that follows the brand strategy and publishing process to create content which is approved by the manager.
- Contributes to the content calendar through the publishing process with other creators and editors.
- Creates product support content packages for support departments.
- Creates, writes and edits video features and short videos.
- Helps research, plan and execute the most effective deliverable(s) as part of a content team.
- Creates segments and tailors content to different audiences.
- Plans campaigns with the guidance of the manager.
- Collaborates with the MLS department to create internal and external documentation.
- Travels from Tempe, Markt Support Centers and other locations as needed or as required.
- Implements content best practices, such as style (AP Style), grammar, publishing, SEO, media, web standards and social media.
- Conducts research using business tools.
- Ensures past created deliverables are updated.
- Conducts visits to real estate offices to provide updates on Markt services and products.
- Maintains support center training facilities, including stocking room supplies and notifying IT when equipment repairs are necessary.
- Records activity in appropriate systems including CRM and other department systems.
- Facilitates meetings and events as needed.
- Occasional evening, weekend work and travel
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- A college degree in media, instructional design / learning and development, public speaking or communications or equivalent experience in content creation.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of content apps/software (Power Point, webinar, video, electronic tutorials, selfpaced modules).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to write for different audiences.
- Must be able to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
- Ability to work collectively with other team members.
- Excellent computer skills including competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Camtasia or video recording software experience.
- Consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
- Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and good judgment in all interactions with co-workers, and customers.
- Well-organized, self-directed team player. Remains open to others’ ideas, and exhibits willingness to try new things.
