Chief Technology Officer

T3 Sixty, a management consulting company in the residential real estate industry, has a client who is looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer. The company for this position is a national real estate brokerage or franchisor.

The Chief Technology Officer is responsible for collaborating to enable innovation, identify technology opportunities and enhance the business transformation. This role will set and implement the technology strategy of the company in alignment with the overall corporate strategy, market development and franchise network needs.

Key Performance Indicators

1. Build, lead and develop a technology team
2. Increase overall efficiency and usage of technology—digital tools, platforms, services and processes—at the enterprise level
3. Increase technology integration with new affiliate clients, service providers and information collection and delivery platforms

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Create enterprise value through the effective creation, implementation and use of digital tools, platforms, technologies, services, and processes
2. Direct and manage all research and development (R&D) efforts as well as all technological business needs while developing a strong relationships with the franchise network
3. Develop and execute technology product vision, strategy and portfolio while ensuring alignment with all stakeholders
4. Oversee company’s technology infrastructure
5. Conceptualize, align and execute all IT and technology projects for the company, including the evaluation of and the integration with new affiliate clients’ systems, service providers, and information collection and delivery platforms
6. Act as the liaison between the Americas headquarters and the global technology organization at the Germany headquarters aligning digital and technology strategies and initiatives
7. Build, lead, and develop a technology team over time, promoting a positive environment and teamwork spirit, developing competence, and providing clear vision, issue resolution, motivation and mentoring
8. Coordinate software product development/customization/configuration and provider selection
9. Conceptualize and implement security policies, processes, controls and standards to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities and threats, including data privacy, business continuity and disaster recovery concepts
10. Manage user service levels and service desk for all technology and communication services to ensure extraordinary end user satisfaction
11. Manage external service providers on all technical matters and deliverables as well as negotiating IT contracts
12. Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, from workplaces to productivity applications
13. Develop and manage the technology operating budget while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiencies and cost effectiveness
14. Analyze relevant metrics to drive strategy and performance
15. Provide technical leadership at the enterprise level including technology recommendations

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field or Master’s in business with technology discipline
• 10+ years executive level technology experience in the real estate industry
• 10+ years executive leadership experience including P&L management

Compensation: From $275,000 - $325,000 per year + bonus
