Data Services Specialist

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Remote/Occasional Travel to Jacksonville

Pay Rate: $65,000-$70,000 Full Time

realMLS, located in Jacksonville, FL, serves over 11,000 members spanning across 5 counties. Our membership base continues to grow as do the member’s needs. We are seeking a full time data services specialist to assist in evaluating data quality, establishing procedures, maintenance ensuring that all date meets industry standards as defined by RESO (Real Estate Standards Organization). In this role, you will be also assist with documenting, troubleshooting, and resolving any data related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide RETS & API Client Support; troubleshoot issues and solve problems

• Act as liaison between API Vendor and industry developer and assist in problem resolution
• Assist with data mapping, analysis, and deployment of Datashare processes
• Work with vendors to implement solutions tailored to members’ needs and monitor/maintain integration

• Identifies potential areas for improvement and suggests options and recommends approaches.
• Participate with industry related data standardization community to be apprised of direction and technology trends and willing to travel to annual conferences
• Provides guidance to non-technical staff in using software and hardware systems most effectively and efficiently
• Coordinate setup and maintenance of data and transports and credentials
• Special Projects as assigned by the CEO, COO, or immediate supervisor

• Produce reporting of data analysis findings to management to aide in business decisions

Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer Science
• Data mapping and support for both RETS (Real Estate Transaction Standard) and API
• Experience working with MLS’s (preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with RESO (Real Estate Standards Organization) data standards is a plus and/or willing to learn and be certified
• Local to Jacksonville, FL preferred but will consider hybrid/remote based upon experience
• Good customer communication and service skills
