Full Stack Java / Angular Developer

MARIS, a St. Louis based multiple listing service is seeking a Full Stack Java/Angular developer to work with a cross functional team in partnership with Northstar multiple listing service in Minnesota. This is a full-time remote work opportunity with some travel for in-person meetings.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced full stack Java/Angular developer who wants to work on an agile development team. Our technology stack includes MS SQL DB, Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST, Olingo, Angular 9+, Bootstrap, GitHub Jasmine, Karma, Jenkins, NGINX.

This position will contribute to an ongoing modernization effort and will therefore be responsible for researching and developing new technologies, products, and standards which can be incorporated into the Common Data Platform suite of applications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and/or lead overall system design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of software solutions.
• Participate in an agile team to deliver the full life-cycle, including requirements, architecture, design, development, testing and deployment.
• Perform application testing and validation; Produce automated and integrated tests as part of the development process
• Incorporate standards and best practices, including performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Create and maintain application design documents.
• Ability to contribute on an individual basis as well as demonstrate your strengths as a team player as a member of an agile team.

Qualifications:

• Requires 4+ years proven Java full-stack experience including Spring Boot, REST/JSON, Angular in a production environment.
• Extensive experience developing RESTful API’s.
• Experience with GitHub or other distributed source control systems.
• Outstanding communication, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong listening skills.
• Experience communicating and collaborating with other software developers, business owners, and management.

Additional Experience Considered:

• Apex Development in a Salesforce Environment.
• Developing and implementing procedures for automated testing with Jenkins and creating tests in Angular/JavaScript
• Experience working with WebSocket
• Experience working with Olingo
