Markt is an multi-MLS service organization focused on pooling resources and expertise to better serve agents/brokers wherever they may be. Our MLSs are stronger together, than apart.

SUMMARY:

Responsible for obtaining, analyzing data and data reports, and verifying real property records from a variety of sources on various schedules. Supports customers, within and outside the Real Estate industry. Develops procedures to obtain, analyze and verify data and resolve problems with same.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Analyze public records data and perform quality assurance (QA) tasks as needed.

• Work with the Data Integrity group to help resolve issues and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Perform data entry as needed to help keep information current and accurate.

• Contact assessors, treasurers, registers of deeds and others who maintain real property records and obtain data and related documentation.

• Create and/or enhance documentation surrounding data acquisition, processing and testing.

• Maintain multiple databases with appropriate contacts for each source, records what data is available, when data is updated and associated costs. Review files for missing information.

• Operate PC and other computers to perform quality control of both raw and converted data to ensure accuracy and to move data between systems and media. Identify issues; researches and implements solutions to ensure accuracy of data.

• Operate other office equipment to perform and complete administrative tasks.

• Communicate with customers and vendors. Provide information regarding data content, resolves problems and coordinates services, either rendered or received.

• Assist in all duties surrounding data processing, data acquisition, data verification, data QA/correction and data administration.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Functional knowledge of PC systems and software including word processing.

• Detail oriented

• Self-directed and able to perform tasks with a minimum of supervision.

• Strong verbal, both in person and on the telephone, and written communications skills.

• Ability to work with a variety of people in various business situations.

• Minimum of two years of experience to include recordkeeping, customer contact and follow-up, and general business tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency with Office 365 applications

• Real Estate industry knowledge.

• Prior experience with data processing and data quality assurance tasks.

• Familiarity with various data structures & repositories.
